Position: Building Service Worker with Cleaning Focus
We are hiring a Building Service Worker with strong cleaning skills to support our City facilities. This role involves general janitorial duties and minor maintenance tasks under supervision.

Candidates must have a Building Service Worker certification and a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Daily tasks include cleaning with powered equipment, inventory management, and ensuring facilities are safe for public use. You will work closely with a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and machine cleaning of facilities

• Thoroughly clean washrooms and change rooms

• Set up and dismantle rental equipment as needed

• Order and distribute cleaning supplies throughout the facility

• Report maintenance needs promptly to your supervisor

Requirements:

• Grade 12 completion and Building Service Worker certification

• One year of experience in janitorial work

• Valid WHMIS certification and Class 5 Driver’s Licence

• Ability to follow simple instructions and work autonomously

• Successful passing of a Police Information Check
