Become the City Building Maintenance Supervisor, focusing on comprehensive maintenance coordination in British Columbia. This pivotal role involves inspections and managing maintenance programs.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Facility Services, you will supervise the maintenance and repair of City buildings and related systems. The position entails inspection scheduling, contractor coordination, and maintaining standards in compliance with policies. You will also lead budget preparations and monitor expenditures effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule building and equipment maintenance activities
• Regularly inspect facilities and identify repair needs
• Supervise contractor and staff performance
• Assist with departmental budget preparations
• Implement Building Improvement projects meeting standards
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and technical certification
• 2-5 years of relevant supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of building automation systems
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence for British Columbia
• Familiarity with maintenance management software
