Building Service Worker Oval

Become a Building Service Worker at the Richmond Olympic Oval, serving the vibrant community in Richmond. This role involves custodial duties, equipment operation, and enhancing visitor experiences at this iconic venue.

In this auxiliary position, you will join the facility maintenance team, ensuring a welcoming environment through janitorial work and regular maintenance. Your responsibilities will include liaising with stakeholders, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining accurate records. You must work independently when required and follow Health and Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate custodial equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and repair of the building

• Assist with event conversions and cleanup tasks

• Resolve customer inquiries regarding building conditions

• Document daily activities and equipment usage

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education

• Valid BC Driver’s License required

• Building Service Worker Certificate (to be obtained)

• Proven building maintenance experience required

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
