Clean floors, washrooms, and facility areas as a Full Time Heavy Duty Cleaner with GDI Services. Use cleaning equipment and heavy duty machines.
GDI provides integrated facility maintenance services across the United States and Canada. As a Heavy Duty Cleaner, you will service hard floors, carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and garbage collection points. The work includes routine cleaning, specialized tasks on request, and reporting possible facility defects. You will work with direction, minimal supervision, and cooperation as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, wash, strip, and wax interior floors
- Clean carpets, windows, walls, bathrooms, and entrance glass
- Restock paper supplies, soap, and toilet paper dispensers
- Collect building trash and replace container liners
- Report clogged urinals, lights out, and possible defects
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Own transportation required for the work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use heavy duty machines
