Healthcare Housekeeping Worker

Support clean, welcoming resident spaces at Age Care through detailed housekeeping, disinfecting, and safe equipment operation. This casual schedule runs 0800 to 1600.

Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Hospitality Worker completes assigned cleaning duties in a long-term care setting. Daily work includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, waste removal, and maintaining resident suites and shared areas. You will follow established schedules, policies, procedures, and checklists while reporting maintenance or safety concerns.

• Clean resident suites, restrooms, showers, and nursing stations
• Dust, polish, and clean furnishings, fixtures, vents, and handrails
• Wash windows, spot wash walls, and shampoo carpets
• Remove trash according to company disposal protocols
• Operate housekeeping equipment and return daily checklists

• Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
• High school diploma preferred
• WHMIS training considered an asset
• Healthcare or retirement setting experience preferred
• Industrial vacuum, scrubber, or floor polisher experience preferred
