Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee operations of 90+ staff and auxiliary personnel
• Manage an operating budget close to $90 million
• Create and implement strategies for community engagement
• Work alongside HR for recruitment and performance management
• Serve as liaison to City Council for safety-related matters
Requirements:
• University degree in relevant field like Public Safety
• Five years of leadership experience mandatory
• Knowledge of policing regulations and community safety
• Proficient in strategic planning and conflict management
• Must possess a BC Driver’s License and RCMP Enhanced Security clearance
