Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role, located in Richmond, BC, for a Quality Inspector. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for maintaining quality standards by performing inspections on raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products. Key tasks include conducting precise measurements, documenting inspection results, reporting non-conformities, and recommending corrective actions. The role will also involve collaborating with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management requirements.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection processes, quality assurance standards, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and communicate non-conformities effectively
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to document inspection results clearly
  • Previous experience in CNC machining, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environments is an asset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; certification in quality assurance or related field is a plus
