Part Time Package Handler; Sort

UPS is hiring a Part Time Package Handler (Day Sort) at their Richmond, BC facility located at 5960 Ferguson Rd, Richmond, BC, V7B 1M6.

This is a permanent, part-time position working Monday to Friday from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. Package Handlers may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars
• Sorts and scans packages to ensure accurate routing
• Stocks packages according to UPS procedures
• Operates heavy machinery as required
• Completes additional tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment

• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting packages up to 70 lbs unassisted
• Ability to manoeuvre packages up to 150 lbs via team lift
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Commit to work Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Reliable and consistent availability for a permanent shift
