Job Description Summary

We’re looking for someone with a passion for food to play a key leadership role in our Hot & Cold Food Preparation & Assembly Departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Leverage your culinary expertise to elevate our customers’ experience
- Contribute to new menu design
- Ensure customer quality standards are always met or exceeded
- Responsible for safety, quality and compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
- Champion employee safety without compromise
- Manage daily manpower planning, including assignment of responsibilities and workstations
- Evaluate employee performance, coach, and take corrective action as needed, liaising with HR and other support functions
- Train and monitor employees on proper work procedures to ensure maximum productivity with minimum labour and food costs
- Always look for ways to minimize labour and material cost
- Work closely with internal customers and suppliers to continuously improve the overall supply chain
- Collaborate with the entire leadership team toward a unified goal
- Handle administrative tasks including creation of requisitions, production sheets, HACCP documentation, shift reports, etc.
- Red Seal Chef preferred
- Minimum 3 years cooking or food preparation experience with a wide array of cuisines
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced food production environment with complex menus
- Production planning experience a plus
- Strong and effective leadership skills with the ability to manage a staff of 30+ employees
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Ability to give constructive feedback to employees daily
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple objectives in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to create and execute a production plan
- Innovation and flexibility to make operational changes that improve the work environment and unit performance
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
