Logistics Operator

Job Summary

As a Logistics Operator at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., you will ensure that production kitting, incoming, and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining adherence to standards and procedures.

• Prepare and complete pick orders for production according to schedule.
• Prepare kits for production orders by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and organizing parts by job number, following the BOM.
• Perform inventory controls and maintain inventory quantity and location accuracy.
• Participate in daily cycle counts and report any discrepancies.
• Receive and verify products from suppliers by cross‑checking parts with packing lists.
• Report damaged items or shortages not noted at delivery and prepare related paperwork.
• Complete receiving reports and logs, maintain and distribute paperwork.
• Prepare, process, and complete customer shipments according to the shipping schedule.
• Prepare finished goods for shipment by sorting, packaging, wrapping, and labeling.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Order supplies needed for shipping or warehouse operations.
• Support the Production department with assigned priorities when required.

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in final packaging preferred.
• Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software; experience with Epicor is an asset.
• Ability to work with counting scales and basic warehousing tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn and follow procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods.
• Dedication to safety, ensuring fire exits are not blocked, securing boxes on shelves, adhering to height limits, and participating in weekly/daily safety walks.
• Flexible and willing to work in a fast‑paced environment where tasks and priorities may change frequently.
• Excellent time management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.
