Overview
A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Logistics Operator at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring standards and procedures are adhered to and for the timely and accurate processing of production kitting, incoming, and outgoing shipments.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Preparing and completing pick orders for production according to schedule.
- Preparing kits for production orders by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and organizing parts by job number, following the BOM.
- Performing inventory controls and maintaining inventory quantity and location accuracy.
- Participating in daily cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies.
- Receiving and verifying products from suppliers by cross-checking parts with packing lists.
- Reporting damaged items or shortages not noted at the time of delivery and preparing related paperwork as necessary.
- Completing receiving reports and logs, maintaining and distributing paperwork.
- Preparing, processing, and completing customer shipments according to the shipping schedule.
- Preparing finished goods for shipment by sorting, packaging, wrapping, and labeling.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization.
- Ordering supplies needed for shipping or warehouse operations.
- Supporting the Production department with assigned priorities when required.
Skills You Bring:
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in final packaging is preferred.
- Experience in shipping/receiving is an asset.
- Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software; experience with Epicor is an asset.
- Ability to work with counting scales and basic warehousing tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to learn and follow procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
- Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including ensuring that fire exits are not blocked and that boxes are arranged securely and adhere to height limits; participate in weekly/daily safety walks to identify improvements or hazards.
- Flexible and willing to work in a very fast-paced environment where tasks and priorities may change often.
- Excellent time management skills and commitment to meet deadlines.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21 per hour. This rate is a reasonable expectation of pay for this position, based on a range of factors including qualifications, experience, education, training, operational and business needs and other considerations.
