Pro Ampac, located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking a Bag Packer to join its fast-paced team!

What you will do
  • Prepares boxes needed for the day and the following shift.
  • Prepares finished goods for palletizing and shipping.
  • Inspects the product in real time to ensure bags are to specification.
  • Under the guidance of the Operator/Helper, assists with minor machine adjustments when necessary.
  • Observes the lines for the Operator/Helper while on break periods.
  • Assists Operator/Helper where required.
  • Maintains a clean work environment to ensure efficient production workflow.
  • Coordinates with operators/helpers the staging of materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Facilitates an organized and tidy work area.
  • Maintains a level of supplies to keep the machines running efficiently.
  • Coordinates with the operators and helpers to ensure all materials are available.
  • Maintains inventory levels of tools and supplies.
  • Facilitates quality checks every 30 mins to ensure the bags pass at all quality levels.
  • Maintains machine speeds to produce high quality product with the least amount of waste.
  • Works respectfully with all team members.
What you have to offer
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Self‑motivated; can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work 8‑hour rotating shifts Monday – Friday (days, nights and afternoons).
  • Bona fide physical requirements to carry out the duties of the role include climbing, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
