Meat Department Production Worker

Position: Meat Department Production Worker Needed
Join Intercity Packers in Richmond, BC as a full-time Production Worker in our meat department. You’ll actively prepare and pack meat products in a fast-paced and cold environment while ensuring safety and quality.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play an essential role in our team-focused operations. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, such as assembling products and maintaining cleanliness and safety in compliance with HACCP and CFIA standards. If you thrive under minimal supervision and are detail-oriented, we are eager to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep the production area organized and safe

• Rack and defrost frozen meat

• Weigh, label, and pick meat products accurately

• Perform quality checks and report issues as needed

• Adhere to the production schedule

Requirements:

• Experience working in colder environments

• Strong understanding of safety and lifting procedures

• Capable of lifting 65lbs repeatedly

• Basic computer literacy and effective communication

• Commitment to quality management and food safety
