- Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Experience:
3 years to less than 5 years Tasks - Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Prepare production and other reports
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Support for newcomers and refugees
- Does not require Canadian work experience Support for youths
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Support for Indigenous people
- Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
