Production Worker – Seafood Processing Division
Intercity Packers Ltd. – Richmond
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
Wage: $20.75/hour (paid on weekly basis)
Duties & Responsibilities:- Pin boning fish
- Lifting fish and packaging into bags/boxes
- Operating various production machines (ie. skinning machine, portioning machine)
- Label boxes
- Making ice bags and boxes
- Push rolling buggies loaded with baskets of fish
- Feed fish into the machines
- Other duties as required
- Reliable means of transportation
- Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment
- Experience operating a forklift is an asset
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Ability to learn and be trained in new skills and concepts required for the job
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures is an asset
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills to connect with the team
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
