Production Worker – Seafood Processing Division

Intercity Packers Ltd. – Richmond

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Wage: $20.75/hour (paid on weekly basis)

• Pin boning fish
• Lifting fish and packaging into bags/boxes
• Operating various production machines (ie. skinning machine, portioning machine)
• Label boxes
• Making ice bags and boxes
• Push rolling buggies loaded with baskets of fish
• Feed fish into the machines
• Other duties as required

• Reliable means of transportation
• Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment
• Experience operating a forklift is an asset
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods
• Ability to learn and be trained in new skills and concepts required for the job
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures is an asset
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills to connect with the team
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
