Summary

Ebco Industries Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with a Red Seal certification and a strong background in programming and operating DMG 5‑axis machines. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent problem‑solving skills, and a passion for precision manufacturing. As a Machinist in our Heavy Machine Shop, your role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world‑class quality manufacturing and repair/rebuild services to projects domestically and worldwide.

What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate DMG 5‑axis CNC machines to produce complex components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
  • Program CNC machines using G‑code and CAM software, ensuring optimal machining processes.
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Red Seal certification as a CNC Machinist is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience operating CNC machines, specifically DMG 5‑axis machines.
  • Proficient in programming CNC machines using G‑code and CAM software.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and material properties.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $45.06–$46.21 per hour (plus yearly raises as per Collective Agreement)
