Summary
Ebco Industries Ltd. is seeking for a skilled CNC Machinist with a Red Seal certification and a strong background in programming and operating DMG 5-axis machines. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for precision manufacturing. As a Machinist in our Heavy Machine Shop, your role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing and repair/ rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide.
What You'll Do
Technical Experience
Set up and operate DMG 5-axis CNC machines to produce complex components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software, ensuring optimal machining processes.
Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making adjustments as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
What Will You Bring

Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
Red Seal certification as a CNC Machinist is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience operating CNC machines, specifically DMG 5-axis machines.
Proficient in programming CNC machines using G-code and CAM software.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and material properties.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Salary: $45.06 - $46.21 / hour
