Canterbury is looking for a motivated Roaster to join its dedicated Manufacturing team in Richmond. You will have a hands-on role operating equipment critical to coffee production, ensuring safe and efficient processes while adhering to food safety and quality standards. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential as you work with colleagues to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate coffee roasting equipment
• Monitor and adjust batching and grinding systems
• Handle green coffee with a focus on safety
• Ensure compliance with SQF standards
• Collaborate to maintain a clean production area
Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification is advantageous
• Experience with SQF, HACCP, or GMP preferred
• 1-year operational experience in manufacturing preferred
• Solid mechanical aptitude is an asset
