This role requires assembling and maintaining optical, electrical, and mechanical systems. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience in a lab or shop environment and hands-on expertise with lasers, optics, and precision mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and troubleshoot various optical and mechanical systems

• Fabricate and assemble optical fibers

• Conduct precision mechanical assembly of small parts

• Perform basic electrical tasks including soldering

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workplace

Requirements:

• Post-secondary technical program completion in related fields

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in lab or shop environments

• Hands-on experience with optomechanics and electronics

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Comfort with climbing heights and lifting up to 20kg
