General farm workers-harvesting labourers

Johal Berry Farms Ltd. is hiring 6 Full Time “General Farm Workers”.

• Mixing and preparing soil for the plantation as per instructions;
• Picking up/Harvest the crops regularly;
• Storing them in appropriate temperatures in the storage areas;
• Positioning and regulating irrigation systems;
• Ensuring healthy growth of plants and reporting any diseases;
• Maintaining inventory, tools, and equipment;
• Maintaining cleanliness and following health and safety rules;
• Performing other duties as per instructions;
• Plant, irrigate & cultivate crops;
• Work extended hours including nights & weekends;
• Examine products for quality and prepare (sorting, weighting and packing) for market;
• Unloading of deliveries of farm material and loading the products for delivery

Job Type: Full time

Salary: CAD $ 18.25/hour
