Forklift Operator

Position: Full-Time Forklift Operator
Join Intercity Packers Ltd. as a full-time Forklift Operator in Richmond, BC. This role focuses on fish processing and forklift operation within the Seafood Processing Division.

Intercity Packers, a part of Gordon Food Service (GFS) Canada, seeks a dedicated Production Worker/Forklift Operator. Candidates will engage in loading, packaging, and transporting products in a cool, wet environment. Familiarity with workplace safety and effective communication skills are essential, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the forklift to move products safely

• Lift and package fish into bags and boxes

• Label boxes and create ice bags for shipping

• Push buggies loaded with fish baskets

• Feed fish into processing machines

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to Richmond

• Comfortable in cold, wet working conditions

• Experience operating a forklift (asset)

• Strong verbal and listening skills

• Able to stand and walk for long durations
