CNC Machining Programmer and Support Specialist

Drive innovation in CNC machining as a CNC Programmer / Applications Specialist focused on developing programs and optimizing processes. This role blends technical expertise with a hands-on approach on the manufacturing floor.

You will play a crucial role in programming 3–5 axis CNC machinery, creating efficient machining strategies, and supporting production with technical recommendations. Your collaboration with machinists and engineers will help streamline operations and improve overall workflow in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program CNC machines with effective machining strategies

• Design and optimize fixtures and jigs for production

• Assist in troubleshooting during program prove-outs

• Evaluate and improve machining methods and efficiencies

• Create necessary documentation for setup and tooling

Requirements:

• Proven CNC programming experience and understanding of G-code

• Skilled in 3D CAD modeling and heavy machining

• Familiarity with macro programming

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

• Strong analytical and communication skills
