Take on a temporary seasonal position at Ocean Spray of Canada in Richmond, BC, from September to November. Play a crucial role in the harvest by handling fruit and production tasks.
The Richmond facility of Ocean Spray is looking for seasonal workers for labor-intensive positions. Key roles include grading, sorting, and weighing fruit products, as well as building boxes and operating forklifts. Employees will benefit from adhering to safety protocols and may earn an end-of-harvest bonus for full participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade, weigh, and sort fruit efficiently
• Build boxes for product packaging
• Inspect totes in preparation for the fruit
• Fill totes with fruit as a part of the operation
• Drive forklifts for tote transportation
Requirements:
• Availability for dynamic day shift work
• Follow good manufacturing and safety practices
• Team player with record-keeping abilities
• Frequent lifting of up to 30 pounds
• Experience in manufacturing or forklift operations is a plus
