Tree Island Steel is seeking a knowledgeable Scheduler to manage detailed production plans and purchasing strategies. You will maintain alignment between Sales, Production, and Inventory while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves utilizing MRP tools and scheduling methods to enhance production timelines and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed, achievable production schedules from demand forecasts

• Assign production resources based on capacity and constraints

• Monitor production activities and track adherence to schedules

• Communicate variances and recovery plans to stakeholders

• Support continuous improvement in scheduling processes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Operations Management or related field

• 2-3 years experience in high-volume manufacturing

• Proficiency in spreadsheets and analytical tools

• Familiarity with MRP systems

• Strong analytical and communication skills
