Position: Production Worker at Tree Island Steel
Become a key player at Tree Island Steel in Richmond, British Columbia as a Production Worker. Support senior operators, operate machinery, and contribute to producing high-quality wire products.

As a General Helper within the steel manufacturing facility, you will support site operations under the guidance of Production Managers. Your responsibilities include assisting Machine Operators, handling materials, and participating in safety training. This role emphasizes physical work including lifting and moving products while upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production machinery efficiently

• Assist with overhead crane and forklift operations

• Support Machine Operators at workstations

• Engage in warehouse/manufacturing tasks

• Participate in site-specific training initiatives

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safe work practices

• Must have CSA approved steel-toed boots

• Mechanically inclined with strong communication skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing is an asset

• Forklift and crane operation experience preferred
