Requirements
  • Completion of a college or CEGEP program in Business Administration, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food production, food manufacturing, or a related production environment
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily sauce production activities and ensure that production work is carried out safely and according to established procedures.
  • Create production schedules, organize staff assignments, and coordinate the work of production employees to maintain efficient operations.
  • Monitor workplace and food production practices to identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate safety and food-handling procedures are followed.
  • Prepare production records, operational reports, and other documentation related to daily manufacturing activities.
  • Review production performance and product quality, and recommend practical changes to improve efficiency and reduce production issues.
  • Coordinate production activities with other work areas to ensure orders and scheduled production are completed on time.
  • Arrange for the purchase or ordering of raw materials, packaging supplies, equipment, and other items required for production.
  • Provide employees with training on their assigned duties, workplace safety requirements, production procedures, and company policies.
