Speedy Concrete Ltd, located at 11615 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC V6V 2M1, Canada, is seeking to hire 1 full‑time Concrete Plant Operator to join our team. This is a permanent position with a wage of $37.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must have a secondary (high school graduation) certificate or equivalent experience and be able to communicate in English.
Previous experience is considered an asset. The role requires the ability to work on‑site with shifts including early morning, morning, day, evening, and overtime as required.
- Record manufacturing information, including the quantity, size, and type of goods produced.
- Set up, adjust, and operate single‑function machines used for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete according to specified requirements.
- Conduct quality control checks, prepare and mix slip, fill moulds with concrete, and remove castings from moulds.
- Handle the movement of products using equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists.
- Perform ongoing machine adjustments and carry out visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
