This experienced Welder/Fabricator position supports manufacturing at Hansen Industries Ltd., a Richmond precision metal parts manufacturer. You will work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum while following shop drawings, blueprints, routers, and instructions. The role requires weld inspection, product repairs, and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up, adjust, operate, and clean welding equipment
- Follow job router drawings and written instructions
- Inspect completed welds for quality
- Repair faulty products using welding procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment and help elsewhere
- Experienced Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum C level ticket
- Read and comprehend shop drawings and blueprints
- Weld mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
- Operate GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG processes
