Company Overview

Established in 2008, Progressive Automations Inc. is one of the top manufacturers and distributors of linear actuators and linear motion control products worldwide. Our team of expert engineers and marketers is creative, energetic, and innovative, with a passion for what we do and a commitment to delivering exceptional solutions.

Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will own the end‑to‑end execution of new product launches and support ongoing product lifecycle management for our product lines. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, cross‑functional coordination, pricing understanding, and strong attention to detail to ensure successful launches and optimized product performance.

You will partner closely with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to ensure each product is accurately positioned, properly entered into our systems, and strategically launched across all relevant sales channels.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with a natural ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable plans. You thrive in a structured environment where accuracy matters, yet you’re proactive and resourceful enough to solve problems independently when challenges arise. You bring a strong sense of ownership to every launch, enjoy working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, and feel confident navigating data, pricing, and product information systems.

You are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn—always looking for ways to improve processes, optimize product performance, and contribute meaningfully to successful product introductions.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Positioning & Messaging
  • Develop clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging that highlight value, capabilities, and competitive advantages.
  • Translate technical details and R&D specifications into customer‑ready product narratives and internal product briefs.
  • Support the creation of product presentations, internal launch summaries, and positioning documents for cross‑functional teams.
Go-to-Market Planning & Execution
  • Own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market process for new product launches, ensuring all deliverables—pricing, data, content, sales channels—are aligned and launch‑ready.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product pages, keywords, descriptions, media, and metadata are accurately developed and approved.
  • Manage creation of new product identifiers, assist with system setup, and ensure all required product information is entered accurately into internal databases.
  • Determine appropriate sales channels for new products and support the setup of listings across eCommerce and retail platforms.
  • Coordinate internal launch communication and ensure consistent messaging across all internal and external touchpoints.
Customer & Market Insights
  • Conduct market research to evaluate new product ideas, category expansion opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Perform competitive analysis related to features, pricing, positioning, and category trends.
  • Bring insights back into product development, pricing strategy, and future launch planning.
Product Lifecycle & Performance Management
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of slow‑moving products and recommend action plans, repositioning, or EOL strategies.
  • Develop and manage clearance approaches for slow‑moving and end‑of‑life items.
  • Review weekly EOL inventory and coordinate updates across relevant channels and internal systems.
  • Monitor product performance post‑launch, track adoption and sales results, and prepare insights and recommendations for optimization.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Track launch outcomes, analyze product performance, and prepare reports that inform pricing, positioning, and go‑to‑market adjustments.
  • Assess the effectiveness of product data accuracy, marketplace listings, and positioning alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to refine internal workflows, improve cross‑team coordination, and enhance launch readiness processes.
