As a Registered Nurse on the Chemotherapy team, you will engage in critical nursing activities, including assessment, care planning, and patient education.
Your role is pivotal in advocating for client needs and enhancing their quality of life. You will work independently while collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide dedicated nursing care to chemotherapy patients
• Assess and plan individualized nursing interventions
• Educate patients and families on health promotion
• Document care provided and follow protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM
• Experience in oncology nursing preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client needs effectively
• Physical capability to perform nursing duties
