We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Band
7) to support our innovative Walk-In Service. This role involves delivering same-day access to urgent care and requires a strong background in clinical assessment. You will work autonomously, providing high-quality care and collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and diagnose urgent medical conditions
• Provide treatment for minor injuries and illnesses
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical leadership team
• Drive service improvement initiatives and education
• Engage in service audits to enhance care quality
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification required
• Demonstrated independent prescribing abilities
• Relevant experience in urgent or primary care
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings
