VCH Licensed Practical Nurse Palliative Position

Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Palliative Care. This position is pivotal in providing quality care to clients while fostering meaningful relationships with families.
In this role, you will perform practical nursing tasks with a focus on Palliative clients, assessing, planning, and evaluating their needs effectively. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will support the Registered Nurse and enrich your nursing skills according to BCCNM standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Palliative clients

• Conduct thorough assessments and documentation

• Collaborate effectively with care teams

• Enhance nursing skills reflecting BCCNM standards

• Support client families through the care process
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program

• Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with BCCNM

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage physical demands of the role

• Experience in a Palliative environment is an asset
