Vancouver Coastal Health seeks a Nurse Clinician to provide leadership and consultation for patients facing addiction challenges. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team, guiding best practices in patient-centered care and utilizing your expertise in withdrawal management. This role demands strong clinical skills and a dedication to excellence in education and research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in addiction assessment and counseling
• Collaborate with care teams for effective patient management
• Assist with treatment planning and referrals for patients
• Promote education and training for clinical staff
• Support a positive learning environment for patients and families
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BCCNM
• Three years' experience in addiction management
• Specialist nursing certificate/program completion preferred
• Valid BC Driver's License may be required
• Demonstrated skills in communication and conflict resolution
