This role at VCH requires a Nurse Clinician who is committed to clinical excellence and specialized care in addiction management. You will work directly with patients and families, providing leadership and consultation to improve care standards. Your ability to navigate complex situations and foster education will significantly impact patient experiences and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate addiction consultations and patient assessments
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in care delivery
• Support educational efforts for patients and clinical staff
• Drive quality improvements in addiction resource services
• Manage conflict resolution within the care team
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM credentials
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience
• Completion of specialized nursing certificate preferred
• Possible requirement of valid BC Driver's License
• Proficiency in communication and organizational skills
