Overview

Isidore Landscapes Inc., an established landscaping company, located at 21200 River Road, Richmond, BC V6V 1M3, has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the Lower Mainland since 1994. Over the years, we have built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects.

Position Details:

Number of positions: 1
Job Type: Full time, permanent position with 40 hours per week.
Compensation: $37 per hour
Overtime: 1.5 times after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.

Work Address: 21200 River Road, Richmond BC V6V 1M3. Requires on-site work at various job sites within the lower mainland.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Project Manager to estimate and understand the scope of work prior to project start-up.
  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of grounds maintenance and irrigation system workers.
  • Assign tasks, schedule work shifts, and monitor staff performance to ensure landscaping and maintenance standards are met.
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate on-site records.
  • Maintain quality control of all project elements by enforcing company standards and specifications daily.
  • Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of landscape irrigation systems.
  • Inspect landscaped areas regularly and provide recommendations for irrigation adjustments, plant health, and grounds improvements.
  • Address and resolve work-related and client concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure safe and proper use of equipment, hand tools, and power tools, providing guidance to staff as needed.
  • Track supplies and materials and place orders as required to ensure all necessary tools and resources are available on-site.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to grounds maintenance staff to promote efficiency, safety, and skill development.
Requirements
  • Education:

    Completion of secondary school
  • Experience:

    Minimum of two years of related experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role within the field
  • Language:
    Good verbal and written communication skills in English
