In this full-time role, you will collaborate with the General Manager and shape quality assurance initiatives for the Vancouver operation. With a strong background in food safety practices and auditing, you will be instrumental in leading the QA team and enhancing compliance with internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly food safety self-assessments
• Maintain accurate HACCP documentation and compliance
• Initiate and lead QA-focused activities and initiatives
• Manage corrective action processes within teams
• Supervise sanitation operations to meet hygiene standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in food science or similar
• At least 5 years experience in food QA environments
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to handle responsibilities with minimal oversight
Contribute to a culture of quality and food safety at Gate Gourmet Canada Inc. in Vancouver.
