Concrete Products Inspector

Speedy Concrete Ltd, located at 11615 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC V6V 2M1, Canada, is seeking to hire 1 full-time Concrete Products Inspector to join our team. This is a permanent position offering $37.50 per hour for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must have a secondary (high school graduation) certificate or equivalent experience and be able to communicate in English.

The candidate must also have 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience. This is an on-site position requiring availability for early morning, morning, day, evening, and overtime shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform audits of ready-mix concrete plant facilities to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Test and verify concrete products during batching and on-site, ensuring compliance with CSA standards.

Advise supervisors, central control operators, and machine operators of problems or product deficiencies

Grade and label raw materials or finished products

Take samples during or after processing for routine or laboratory analysis

Test products for strength, density, durability, and conformity to specifications

Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced

Develop quality management and quality assurance standards

Ensure products meet established quality standards

Ensure safety procedures are followed

Collect samples and perform laboratory tests
