Temporary Test Technician at Photon Control

Become a key player at Photon Control, a subsidiary of MKS Instruments, in this temporary Test Technician role. You will manage the test lab, ensuring equipment readiness and supporting testing protocols.

As a Test Technician, you will engage in functional testing and assist Test Engineers with validation plans. You’ll also participate in failure analysis, develop testing protocols, and compile data for actionable insights. This position reports to the Test Engineering Supervisor and requires a hands-on approach to test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional tests ensuring product specifications are met

• Assist in failure investigations and root cause analysis

• Develop and optimize testing protocols for efficiency

• Compile and analyze test data for product improvements

• Maintain 5S standards for an organized lab environment

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in electrical, mechatronics, or engineering

• Minimum 2+ years in a test technician role

• Proficient in operating test equipment and tools

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
