Quality Engineering Position at Norsat International

Join Norsat International as a Quality Engineer and take the lead in ensuring product excellence through rigorous quality control measures. This on-site position prioritizes hands-on investigations of quality complaints.

As a Quality Engineer, you will coordinate troubleshooting activities for customer, internal, and supplier issues, helping to advance Norsat’s quality objectives. Your expertise in statistical methods will be crucial for identifying quality improvement parameters while you manage the test equipment calibration program. Additionally, you will participate in new product compliance verification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate investigations for internal and external quality issues

• Review and track corrective actions with CAPA

• Create audit reports and action plans for improvements

• Analyze product quality trends effectively

• Develop and handle calibration programs for testing equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5 years of relevant experience

• At least 2 years in quality assurance or control within manufacturing

• Proficient in quality methodologies and data analysis

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other standards

• Capability to interpret engineering drawings
