Food safety and quality auditing guide this Quality Assurance Specialist role, supporting Gate Gourmet standards and compliance across processing and manufacturing activities.
This specialist monitors quality improvement projects and corrective actions while implementing the quality system with the QA Manager and QA Supervisor. The work focuses on HACCP, inspection methods, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and key performance metrics. It also supports audit readiness and employee training.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor quality improvement projects and corrective action systems
- Audit quality system implementation against specifications and regulations
- Coordinate actions preventing nonconformities and recurring defects
- Maintain customer compliance resolution and quality performance metrics
- Control food safety and quality across processing and manufacturing
- Preferred college degree in a related discipline
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, or quality management
- Quality control experience with GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP
- Microsoft Excel and Word skills at intermediate level
- Knowledge of quality auditing and inspection methods
