As part of the Applied Physics team at General Fusion, you will develop magnetized target fusion (MTF) technology. This role demands a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills who can navigate a fast-paced environment. You will work on innovative solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, particularly analyzing experimental campaigns and refining computational models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze diagnostic data from plasma experiments
• Propose new experimental campaigns and simulations
• Curate and interpret experimental data for analysis
• Collaborate on models of spherical tokamak plasmas
• Present results to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering physics or physics
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong foundation in thermodynamics and electromagnetics
• Experience programming in Python and/or C# / C++
• Ability to create efficient algorithms
