Position Overview

In this role, you will ensure a seamless checkout experience processing transactions with precision, securing customer information within our Point of Sale (POS) system, and upholding an immaculate cashwrap area.
Cashiers are the entry point for future roles within Ralph Lauren where you can begin to write your Next Great Chapter. This position may be offered as full-time or part-time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
Create exceptional customer experiences beginning with warm, welcoming greetingsAnswer phones professionally and handle inquiries effectivelyEngage in cross-selling and upselling to enhance customer experienceShare product knowledge and passion for Ralph Lauren fashion with customersBalance multiple tasks while maintaining customer service priorityTransaction Processing
Process all sales transactions efficiently (cash, credit, debit, checks)Validate and inspect returned merchandise, ensuring that all merchandise returned is in saleable condition and eligible for return.Escalate any concerns to management as needed.Manage promotional offers and coupon redemption accuratelyExecute Ship to Home orders with precisionMaintain customer profiles in POS systemEnsure accurate salesperson data captureProcess merchandise professionally (scanning, folding, bagging)Store OperationsMaintain cleanliness of cash wrap, queue line, and surrounding areasCapture reticket information for tag less merchandiseSupport visual merchandising standards following company guidelinesProvide feedback to Management on product and category opportunitiesProfessional DevelopmentComplete compliance, product knowledge and company trainingsSupports the store and team in finding top talent by engaging in networking and sourcing talent.Maintain RL standards and proceduresFoster a positive and belonging work environmentCollaborate effectively with team membersChampion company core values and policiesExperience, Skills & Knowledge
Retail experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
