The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated Part time Store Associate to provide service at their Thrift Store. This entry-level role involves customer interaction, cash handling, and sorting donations. You will also be responsible for maintaining store organization and creating an inviting atmosphere for shoppers.
Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor
Process customer transactions accurately using cash register
Sort, hang, and price donated goods efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
Monitor store activities to ensure security and safety
Requirements Some high school education completed
Prior customer service or retail experience preferred
Cash handling experience is required
Ability to lift items up to 30 lbs frequently
Understanding of The Salvation Army’s mission
Contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable retail experience at The Salvation Army.
