Store Loss Prevention Leader

Position: Store Loss Prevention Leader Role
Drive customer safety at Sport Chek as a Store Loss Prevention Leader, reinforcing security measures and enhancing awareness. Your proactive approach will guide both customers and team members.

This position involves direct reporting to the Store General Manager, tasked with minimizing losses internally and externally. You will serve as a reassuring presence on the sales floor, especially during high-risk hours while implementing the store's loss prevention program. By coaching associates, you ensure an effective approach to theft prevention and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor loss prevention efforts in-store

• Secure high-value products in accordance with standards

• Document incidents and communicate with management

• Train associates on effective loss prevention strategies

• Enhance customer acknowledgment and experience

Requirements:

• Previous retail experience of 6+ months desired

• At least 12 months in loss prevention or security roles

• Capability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs

• Experience mentoring staff

• Validations like CPR & First Aid considered an asset
