Security Compliance Specialist at MDA

In this role, you will support the Manager of Security & Compliance by managing project-related Government security approvals and requirements. Your responsibilities will include risk assessment, document safeguarding, and training personnel on security programs. You will ensure that compliance and continuous improvement are at the forefront of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with the Contracts Security and Controlled Goods Programs

• Prepare detailed Project Security Plans and reports

• Conduct regular audits and compliance checks

• Collaborate with intelligence partners for security assessments

• Advise on physical security requirements within facilities

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in security roles (ACSO or CSO)

• Solid understanding of Canadian security frameworks

• Degree in relevant fields such as law enforcement or IT

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
