MDA Industrial Security Specialist Role

MDA Space seeks an Industrial Security Specialist to ensure compliance with Government security regulations. This position includes risk assessment and stakeholder communication to manage project security requirements effectively.

As a pivotal role reporting to the Manager of Security & Compliance, you will leverage your experience in the Contracts Security Program and Controlled Goods Program. Your key responsibility is maintaining Government compliance, with active participation in project planning and execution. You will need to utilize interpersonal skills while managing multiple high-priority tasks and demonstrate strong judgment in complex security situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Contracts Security Program (CSP)

• Prepare and maintain Project Security Plans

• Generate reports on Government security approvals

• Liaise with intelligence partners for compliance

• Conduct training on security programs

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years experience in ACSO or CSO role

• Full understanding of Canadian security programs

• Degree in business, law-enforcement, or IT security an asset

• Excellent communication skills

• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks under pressure
