MDA Space Security Administrator Position

Become a key player at MDA Space as a Security Administrator, focusing on personal security clearance operations and compliance with Canadian law. Drive security process improvements in a pioneering space organization.

In this impactful position, you'll report to the Director of Industrial Security and handle MDA's security clearances in line with national standards. You will liaise with government agencies and work with HR to facilitate clearance submissions efficiently.

Your role will involve monitoring security files and actively implementing new solutions to streamline processes while staying compliant with applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee personal security clearance administration comprehensively

• Follow up on pending clearances with Government agencies

• Train staff on security clearance procedures and compliance

• Ensure timely renewals and monitor clearance expirations

• Report on security risks to management periodically

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of administrative experience

• Relevant degree preferred but not required

• Excellent communication skills for internal and external relations

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently

• Understanding of security regulations is a plus
