Act as a key player in Loss Prevention Management at Sport Chek, ensuring a secure shopping environment while building customer awareness.

Your role is vital in protecting assets and enhancing customer experiences.

Reporting to the Store General Manager, you'll be crucial in reducing loss through proactive engagement on the sales floor. This role requires you to be present during peak hours and coach staff on loss prevention protocols. Your aim will be to secure products following protocols and ensure associates acknowledge customer needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee loss prevention practices throughout the store

• Ensure products are tagged and locked away securely

• Keep detailed logs of incidents and relay info to supervisors

• Guide team training on loss prevention hot spots

• Foster an environment of customer acknowledgment

Requirements:

• 6+ months in retail positions preferred

• 12+ months as Loss Prevention Officer or In-Store Security

• Must handle items weighing up to 50 lbs

• Skills in staff training and mentorship required

• CPR & First Aid certification mandatory
