As a Senior Research Planner 2, you provide leadership in research and project management within the Community Social Development Department. Your expertise will be critical in analyzing community needs and driving strategic initiatives while participating in various committees. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet community needs during events and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage interdisciplinary research and planning projects
• Assemble and interpret data for strategic recommendations
• Engage with stakeholders to build consensus on community projects
• Supervise work programs and ensure effective budget management
• Represent the department at various internal and external meetings
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Planning or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in community development roles
• Familiarity with GIS and statistical analysis software
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
• Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings
