Position: S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Employment Counsellor Role

As an Employment Counsellor, you will engage with clients to assess their unique needs and develop actionable plans leveraging WorkBC services. You'll monitor client outcomes and make necessary referrals to ensure timely job placements. By fostering supportive relationships, you will help clients navigate challenges and achieve sustained employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform client recruitment and needs assessments

• Craft personalized employment and community engagement plans

• Administer financial support as per client eligibility

• Review client progress and revise strategies as needed

• Capture data to showcase client success and outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

• Experience with career counselling and action plan development

• Understanding of cross-cultural counselling effective practices

• Strong organizational and outreach capabilities

• Must pass a criminal record check
